FTSE UK Commercial Property Index

The indices below give a definitive daily performance measure of investable, institutional-grade, UK commercial property – reflecting the real performance of the assets themselves.

The figures in the indices are based on the performance of the FTSEpx Fund, a dedicated property
unit trust which invests in a diverse portfolio of assets. The fund’s make-up across different
property sectors – ie office, retail and industrial – is based on the actual split that exists in the
UK institutional commercial property market. The Asset Values and Income figures (which
make up each index calculation) also come from the fund. The figures shown are the Gross
Asset Values (ie the value of the assets before costs and the effects of gearing are deducted).
